Google has announced that Google is retiring it’s RSS application Google Reader on July 1. Google Reader was developed in 2005 for users to curate and discover online content. Web startup 12seconds caused a bit of a stir last year when they launched a cool (but gimmicky) video service. The idea was that people record 12 second video clips directly on their site (via Flash). There 12second clips could then be commented on by other people, and submitted like an RSS feed to Twitter, your blog and all the usual social media links.
