Microsoft Surface Pro 64GB model will have 41GB of installed assets, leaving users only 23GB of disk space, that certainly will not make the users happy when the device reaches the retail stores on February 9th. Mobile devices have always had less usable space than their advertised storage capacities because of pre-installed software.

Since earlier this week, rumors have been circulating that Apple was set to launch a new model of iPad with 128GB storage capacity. When the fifth beta for iOS 6.1 was released, developers noticed reference to a larger capacity device, dubbed an “Ultimate” ipad.

The Motorola Xoom is an impressive piece of tech.
The preferred size of a tablet is quite a personal thing. The Xoom being somewhere between that of larger tablets like the iPad, and smaller tablets such as Dell’s Streak 7 is quite a good place to be.
