Twitter seems to be in no mood to slow down its offensive against third-party app developers. The latest move is dropping name of the source application from tweets on its web interface which means that any tweet from an application such as TweetDeck, Tweet-bot, or Seesmic will not the accompany the “via” field which carried the name of the application that was used to post that particular [...]

A recent report from ‘All Things Digital’ suggests that Twitter is all set to launch its much awaited advertising model. To start off, the advertisements will mimic tweets in terms of character length and will be limited to 140 characters.

Only last week did Twitter post a message on their blog apologising for accidentaly suspending accounts and now it seems it’s happening all over again.
I opened TweetDeck to see blank fields. After re-starting the app a couple of times I launched the Twitter.com webpage to see my horror, that I had been suspended.

Regulars at Sporkings know that we are massive fans of twitter and iPhones, so we thought it about time to review another twitter app for the iPhone.
A couple of weeks ago TweetDeck joined the apps market and I’ve been testing it ever since. Here is how it stands up against TwitterFon, my previously preferred app.
