Web startup 12seconds caused a bit of a stir last year when they launched a cool (but gimmicky) video service. The idea was that people record 12 second video clips directly on their site (via Flash). There 12second clips could then be commented on by other people, and submitted like an RSS feed to Twitter, your blog and all the usual social media links.

Wow Twitter has just gone down for routine maintenance, it’s 20:25 BST, and I’m missing it already! They say the will be back in an hour so contented with that in mind, I have decided to think about 2 newsworthy things that I can say about Twitter.
