This might sound unbelievable, but it is absolutely true! PepsiCo, the owner of Mountain Dew soda brand has rented a bowling alley in Brooklyn to throw a “taste test” party. A couple of weeks ago, the largest 3G wireless operator in USA, Verizon, announced the launch of a new app store: the Widget Bazaar. This storefront is aimed at providing new widgets and applications for its Fios TV clients. Justin.tv revealed today that they’ll be inviting people to a Private Beta of CamTweet, but they may be too late. Moments ago TwitCam was launched, which covers all the same functionality promised by CamTweet.

Tuesday was one of the most difficult days for the popular micro-blogging website Twitter, after a hacker gained access to their Google cloud-based Apps platform and managed to steal over 300 confidential documents and screenshots. These sensitive documents were sent to Techcrunch, where Michael Arrington decided to release some of them to the public.

Only last week did Twitter post a message on their blog apologising for accidentaly suspending accounts and now it seems it’s happening all over again.
I opened TweetDeck to see blank fields. After re-starting the app a couple of times I launched the Twitter.com webpage to see my horror, that I had been suspended.

The big announcement from @o2 this afternoon is that from 1st August all o2 customers will be able to receive Twitter messages via SMS.
o2 joins Vodafone, who were the first to enable Twitter updates back in March. This comes after Twitter disabled the feature last year, as an attempt to arrange deals with Networks.

So Microsoft joined the twitter party today. Although they already had accounts for the various departments, today’s the day they finally started Tweeting from the /Microsoft account. @Microsoft is being managed by 4 people from the Communications Team.
