Skype released version 5.11 for Windows which allows Skype sign in with Microsoft and Facebook accounts. Skype users can send and receive IM messages from friends who are using Messenger, Xbox, Hotmail or Outlook.com. Other goodies include :

Microsoft launched a newly designed corporate logo featuring a new symbol and a new font. This is the first time that Microsoft has revamped its logo since February 1987.
